Sales tax collected, tracked and filed on time
Sales tax is the money you collect for the state and owe back. We help you work out where you owe it, keep it straight in the books, and prepare the returns.

Who this is for
Businesses selling taxable goods or services
Retail, e-commerce and service businesses that have to collect sales tax and send it to the state.
Businesses selling in more than one state
Selling across state lines can create a tax obligation in a state you have never filed in. We help you work out where.
Businesses behind on returns
Missed filings or unreconciled sales tax accounts, where the first step is knowing exactly what is owed.
What we handle
Working out whether and where you need to register, based on where you sell and what you sell.
Sales tax collected and owed tracked in the books, reconciled against what you actually sold.
Sales tax returns prepared on the schedule your state assigns, monthly, quarterly or annually.
Exemption and resale certificates: what to collect from customers and how long to keep it.
Cleanup of past periods, including notices and unfiled returns, so you know the real exposure.
Coordination with your bookkeeping and business tax return, so the three agree.
What changes for you
No guessing at what you owe
Tax you collected is tracked separately from your income, so it is there when the return is due.
Returns on time
Filing frequency and due dates are tracked for you, which is where most penalties start.
Fewer audit headaches
Certificates and records kept the way the state expects, before anyone asks for them.
How it works
- 1
Tell us what you sell and where
Products or services, which states, and how you sell: in person, online or both.
- 2
We review your obligations
Where you are registered, where you may need to be, and what has been filed to date.
- 3
We set up tracking
Sales tax recorded properly in your books so returns can be prepared from them.
- 4
Returns prepared on schedule
Each return prepared and filed by its due date, with a summary for your records.
What we ask for to get started
- Your state registration details
- Sales tax account numbers and the filing frequency each state assigned you.
- Sales records
- Reports from your point-of-sale, online store or invoicing system for each period.
- Prior returns and notices
- Anything already filed, and any letters from a state tax agency.
Questions
Do I need to collect sales tax?
It depends on what you sell and where. Most states tax goods, and some tax certain services. Tell us what you sell and where and we will tell you what applies.
How often do I file?
Each state assigns a filing frequency, commonly monthly, quarterly or annually, based on how much tax you collect. It is printed on your registration.
Are all my sales taxable?
Not necessarily. Resale, exempt customers and some categories of goods can be exempt, but only with the right documentation on file.
Do you publish sales tax prices?
Not yet. It depends on how many states and how many filings a year, so it is quoted after a short conversation.
